Rules and Benefits

  • 1A. Secure Your Membership: Only 5 euros/month for individuals, 10 euros/month for families.
  • 1B. Annual Fund Contribution: Payable from 01 January to 31 March for all members.
  • 2. Family Definition: Includes spouse and children under 18 years of age.
  • 3. Deceased Member Support: Society covers all arrangements and expenses for sending to Pakistan.
  • 4A. Head of Family's Demise: Society handles repatriation expenses to Pakistan, provides 1000 Euros for burial, and one return ticket.
  • 4B. Continued Membership: Chamber remains if family pays the fund after the head's demise.
  • 5. Permanent Disability Support: If a committee member becomes disabled due to an accident and permanently relocates to Pakistan, assistance will be provided.
  • 6. Meeting with President and Regional Shura: Essential to join the Benefit Committee.
  • 7. Dues Non-payment Consequence: If a Benefit Committee member fails to pay dues for 3 months after March 31 without notice, membership will be canceled, accompanied by a 100 Euro fine and double the arrears to reinstate membership. Payment is mandatory.
  • 8. Decision Authority: The Majlis Shura of the Islamic Society of Italy will make final decisions on any unmentioned situations.
  • 9. Individual Membership Cards: Each Benefit Committee member will receive one card.
  • 10. Inclusion of Unmarried, Unemployed Girls: Girls over 18 years of age who are not married and not employed will be considered part of the family.
  • 11. Utilizing Collected Funds: The Benefit Committee of the Islamic Society Italy can use the collected money for charitable purposes after consulting with the Shura.
  • 12. Non-refundable Deposits: Members of the Benefit Committee cannot request a refund of their deposited amount under any circumstances.
  • 13. Support in Case of Family Head's Death: If the head of the family dies in Pakistan, a lump sum and 1000 euros will be provided. For deaths outside Italy, expenses will be covered based on Italian regulations.
  • 14. Emergency Fund Depletion: In the event of a high mortality emergency, if the fund is exhausted, additional funds may be requested from the members.
  • 15. Rule Changes by Shura: The Shura may make changes to the rules and regulations in consultation, ensuring that all members are informed of any modifications.
